NGOS in Arequipa, Peru
In January, I might be going to Arequipa, Peru for six to twelve months with my boyfriend to volunteer. I'm searching for an alternative organization to the one I am set to volunteer with, one that is more interesting to me.
I was wondering if anybody knew of any good volunteer organizations or NGOs in Arequipa. All the volunteer sites I'm finding online are for 12 weeks max and they charge too much. I can't really afford those huge fees. Any help will be good. And I'd like to stay around the Arequipa region.
My interests are in social justice and human rights. I love working with younger children. And I'm pursuing my degree in Conflict Transformation.
