The Youth PROMISE Act (HR1064, S435) and Youth Violence Prevention Research/Analysis
Hi Peacebuilders,
The Peace Alliance (http://www.thepeacealliance.org/) currently endorses the Youth PROMISE Act (HR 1064) which is the Youth Prison Reduction through Opportunities, Mentoring, Intervention, Support, and Education Act. This bill currently has 228 sponsors in the House and 11 Senate sponsors for the corresponding bill, S435. If you like what this bill represents, please contact your Congress people to let them know of your support.
In the spirit of contributing to increased consciousness regarding the raising of successful, productive, and fulfilled youth, I’ve compiled the below documents that contain a wealth of Youth Violence Prevention info. There must be hundreds, if not, thousands of fine minds integrated with loving hearts, that have put in thousands of hours of research and analysis that have identified causal factors and have provided solutions to address such.

The Peace Alliance (http://www.thepeacealliance.org/) currently endorses the Youth PROMISE Act (HR 1064) which is the Youth Prison Reduction through Opportunities, Mentoring, Intervention, Support, and Education Act. This bill currently has 228 sponsors in the House and 11 Senate sponsors for the corresponding bill, S435.
