The United States must come up with a realistic strategy to fight and win this war on terror. Simple use of force is not the answer here. A deeper understanding of the true nature of Islamic radicalism indicates a mushroom phenomenon in the making.

Comment by Steven Wyttree on October 16, 2009 at 4:02pm - The term "war on terror" is an oxymoron. WAR in itself is an act of terror and it's like fighting fire with fire. The "war on drugs" in the United States was officially declared in 1983. This sparked the gang members, who mainly were drug dealers at the time, to armed themselves and have all-out street gang wars throughout the streets of America. Fighting fire with water works better than fighting fire with fire. One way to stop terrorism is to drown terrorists in peaceful visions.

Comment by Ross Miller on December 27, 2008 at 7:47pm - Amen! The "war on terror" only adds fuel to the fire, constructing threats instead of finding solutions. We must start asking WHY the world has become what it has instead of questioning WHO is to blame. A new ideology is needed!
