Our emerging generation has been dubbed Generation C by trendwatchers and media around the world. What does this mean? At Generation C Magazine, we have taken the C to stand for Creativity, for Cooperation, and for Change. These three ideas are the three cornerstones of the Magazine’s philosophy, and we believe these ideas will propel us into a future we can not only take responsibility for, but also be proud of.
We are living in very exiting times. Our generation has more power than ever to change, create or live out our dreams. Generation C Magazine is a new, online publication, concerted with contemporary questions and issues in the fields of world affairs, conflict resolution, existence, innovation and art. Since the successful launch of the pilot project in April 2009, we have received a great number of articles from passionate writers with original ideas and perspectives. We are now taking the next step and introducing Generation C Magazine to the public. We have therefore chosen to reach out to you. Do you have an urge to share your ideas? Do you have an open mind and ability to create solutions from several angles? Then Generation C Magazine provides a great chance for you. This is peace journalism at is best, solutions oriented- and socially responsible journalism.
We are a think-tank aiming to provide a channel for the distribution of ideas- publishing anything from concerns about where humanity is heading, to general changes you wish to see in your surroundings, as well as positive and inspirational matters. We have the luxury of being surrounded by all the means we need for the true fulfilment of our potential. But it is up to ourselves to recognize this, and let others know, thus making the wheel of innovation spin faster. We want voices. We want to create debate. So speak up. All contributions are welcomed as long as they can offer passion to our readers.

You see in my country Nigeria, there is a growing need and agitation to effect change in the way things are done. The Peace and Reconciliation Initiative (TPRI) of which am a member belong to this rising group of Nigerians. We want to see our children growing up in an atmosphere devoid of violence, sectarian crises, crime and a host of other vices. Nigeria is a beautiful country, filled with abundant resources both human and material. Its peoples are God fearing and want to live in peace and harmony because we have enough if harnessed properly that we can share. Unfortunately the elements of destabilization always try to hijack a few by playing on our sensibilities to cause confusion and chaos. Time has come which is now where we as a nation of these new crop of nigerians must say NO to VIOLENCE, NO to ENEMIES of CHANGE, NO to ANTI DEMOCRATIC ELEMENTS and NO to all forms WICKEDNESS. Lets take our destinies in our hands by campaigning for RECONCILIATION and PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE. By God's grace we shall overcome. I welcome the Generation C magazine and i enjoin people especially journalists of like minds to join us in contributing our quota in ensuring peaceful coexistence not only in our land but in the world.
