Dear Colleagues,

International Professors may be able to assist you in several way(s) -
e.g. recruiting young professors; lecturers and grad students; placing your scholarly papers relevant to international development; possibly providing IT tool, services and consults; and interconnecting you with orgs suitable to your mission.

We would use both our website and our site, here, on PCDN.

Kind reagrds,
International Professors Project

Who's responsible for server -speed connectivity problem globally locally? This is also another techinical problem especially in Nigeria & developing states where power is sttill needlessly a big dea. This could also hinder frequent active participation.
However there's an agriculturist dilemma of how to feed his poultry of diverse breeds/strength.Definitely in nature despite being of the same species some are stronger
than others. He discovered that each time he drops the grains - the raw poultry feeding at the rural level -the stronger one often eats faster/more thus precluding the weaker ones from feeding satisfactorily. The farmer experimented throwing more at a time. The result was that all were well fed with this generous initiative of the farmer. This implies members should invite more worthiers & friends that can contribute t the thoughts of the network and also link others to the site.We 'd building bridges this way - and unknowingly enriching the citadel pool of activists/participants.Gbemi

i appreciate the critically positive responses of Adam Stahl & J.S.Openheime
.They re clearly concerned about performance of public servants in aany settings -local,national & international. However i need to ask where ethics -professional morality that shouls interiorly & exteriorly oversee commitment, efficiency and challenge to trust in such tenures as sensitive & highly coveted as BANKI Moo & SEVERAL OTHER significant posts of responsibility elsewhere in the globe? What do you think can be done to the virus responsible for the ethical decadence locally ,globally? We talk of conflict, wars, inequity ,poverty, terrorism, corruption cronyism, thuggery - ubiquituous at political & sports constituencies and allied embezzlement crimes both in the WEST ,EAST & their colonial babies nation states -don't you think mere professional training & formal education however tall may not have been perfect or assuring enough that majority will perform or maintain excellecnce expected by the general public -secular or cleric? i submit people & the professions ought to exercise their faith system or tap out of their belief model spiritualy more to cshow compassion in service .Again there ought to be more rituals -more philosophical input in appointments requiring high expectations other than credentialling.
i have more evidence of failures of highly qualified dons that have come out to grass from their graceful podium.yET OTHERS MAKE INDELIBLE AND HIGH -SCHIEVING IMPACT WORTH EMMULATING.
Dont permit pessimism to show that knowledge is not vital.Knowledge with wisdom liberally lazed with compassion not just skills -smart selfish expertise to mismanage the ternure.More infor.Im waiting for your response -dispassionately.-Gbemi

how else will Mr. Banki be advised? Is such a tenure possible to be glossed over by the world lens -how much the West's? Gbemi

As regards intellectual participation in global affairs, there may be two requisites for political potency: 1) to select, arbitrarily or otherwise, a problem that may be defined in specific terms and addressed (anyone who wants to work on Kibera Slum with me, let me know); 2) local political participation with the aim of producing a) ever more responsive and responsible government and b) reducing the influence of political vice (corruption, cronyism, thuggery, etc.) in local, regional, and national administration.

The world may do much better than it has done, but each section would do well to look over its own data and reflect on that political image in the mirror.

In folk lore and very possibly in reality, devils don't like mirrors.

Peace experts and academics have initiated a lot of projects germane to conflict resolution -why has there not been specific project/studies targeted at the negative impact of apathy of THE SO CALLED ELITE CLASS IN DEMOCRATIC ELECTIONS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES -NIGERIA inclusive? Again don't think the intellectuals -ceteris paribus
are the one most suitable in leading a revolution of EQUITY IN DEVELOPMENT BOUNTIES ROOTED FROM NATIONAL RESOURCES & GOOD GOVERNANCE -thereby iniating a an egalitarian order? Is an informed citizenry and actively conscientious acaemia/elites outmoded?-Gbemi

Yeah. i love the IJ INITIATIVE but is it frum -other than the contest for academics -hereinafter referred to as the gown?Fine if you restrict contests for research oriented scholars but a rich discussion can only be assured from town & gown wisdom -contributions.As i said earlier i m using battery now power of my house has been cut off Until i relocate and buy a small generator i wont be starting discussion topic - i will always join however. Thanks for inviting me .Rtn Gbemi

Thanks Mr Ping Ping WORA I LOVE YOUR MEDITATIVE PEACE INITAITIVE & THE VERY SHORT POEM..
As Unesco saind in 1946 -since wars begin in the minds of men its in the minds of men that the defences for peace should be constructed. This supports your innovative but oriental popular traditional way of inviting INNER PEACE -especially Buddhists. The world is getting liberal and globally amorphous in therapies and ways of doing things...I m encouraging you to devlop it and globalise it
As for Thai -based scholarships - i m so keen in VISTING CHINA -LET ALONE BEING OPPORTUNED TO STUDY IN AN English setting.I will be so glad.Being a Rotarina i will like to travel beyond the annual RI CONVENTIONS.i WILL LIKE TO APPRECIATE THE WORLD'S PEOPLES AND PLACE S & THE firmament which is one wonder that shows there's an intelligent creature behind the universe & the next life -in concentric cirlesas Buddhist will opine.
pls lets mail often -Rtn Gbemi TIJANI MST
