Greetings to you from JUMUIYA WOMEN GROUP, based in Eldoret town in western KENYA.

We wish to inform you that we have established a HOME STAY PROGRAM in which we provide tourists visiting Kenya, comfortable and homely home stay accommodation. We have enlisted women from this region who have modest houses that we consider to provide the comfort of a home away from home. The fact is that we target those guests who do not want to stay in conventional hotels.

This venture is in line with one the objectives of organization- which is to improve the economic conditions of women, girls and other marginalized groups from our region. We believe that this unit will increase opportunities for rural and urban women to get more income from quests visiting Kenya and in particular the western part of the country.

CONCEPT OF HOME STAYS
KENYA is a region of warm hospitality to all visitors coming to Africa. Our people are welcoming and generous in nature. In view of this most tourists are establishing relationships with the local residents to offer home stays to them when they visit Kenya. The fact is that many quests are shunning away from the normal hotel and lodge accommodation which has been the practice for many years, and turning to home stays in the urban centers, rural villages and private ranches. When traveling in kenya, many visitors prefer staying exclusivity in private homes and private ranches where they experience freedom of movement and security while they conduct their affairs. Private home stay accommodation is becoming common in tourism and visitors to Kenya. Most of the home stays are located in places overlooking unforgettable stunning scenery. With their modest accommodation facilities and warm hospitality, you are also assured of first class and personal service throughout your stay.

JUMUIYA WOMEN GROUP wishes to take this opportunity to urge those visitors who are planning to study, volunteer or travel to western Kenya to consider our four packages of home stays as follows: URBAN HOME STAYS, RURAL VILLAGE HOME STAYS & STUDENT CROSS CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM

1. Urban Home Stays in Kenya
These are individuals and family members with modern homes in major towns in western Kenya. We have established partnerships with many hosts, who assist in providing home stays for a memorable vacation. We will locate, book and arrange for your accommodation, and in addition to the charming accommodation and warm hospitality, you are assured of first class and personal service throughout your stay in these homes at an affordable rate.

2. Rural - Village home stays in Kenya
This is an opportunity where visiting quests get the rare and unique opportunity to stay in rural homes and villages. The set up is such that the visitors can opt to cook together with the hosts or use the services of our chefs to prepare all the meals during their stay. Laundry, house cleaning and house keeping will be done by the visitor’s together with the villagers. This will provide a very unique experience.

3. Student Cross Cultural Exchange program
This program is especially suited to those students seeking overseas voluntary work and volunteer opportunities in select institutions and community based organizations.. Some are interested in teaching English in a school in western Kenya, building a community center, or tending to village daily chores in Kenya.

4. Farm and Ranches Home stays
These home stay arrangements are suitable for individuals, honeymooners, families and women travelers who want complete exclusivity, comfort and freedom during their visit to Kenya. Usually they will be located mostly in old colonial farm houses and ranches, which more overlook unforgettable stunning scenery. In addition to the charming accommodation and warm hospitality; you are assured of first class and personal service throughout your stay in these Farms and ranches. This category of home stay is also suitable for researchers wishing to undertake study of wildlife, community development or agriculture. They often stay in the ranches and farms respectively, where they monitor the daily activities of occurrences in their research activities.

Finally we wish to inform you that we will be arranging an international exchange of women from KENYA to tour certain European nations in September 2009. Any organization willing to host a delegation of 15 women is welcome to write to us. We will also be keen get sponsors for this trip.

Thank you all and best regards

An end of the Neo-liberalism approaches towards for social issues.

Today world has being confronting drastic trap for past few years, called economic recession inflicts badly as an ongoing tragedy directly and indirectly over the world. The origin of this economic downturn merged in well developed countries such as USA, UK, and Germany ect, and now infiltrates to other continents such as Asia and Africa. This crisis drastically hits irrespectively diverse level of the peoples from elites to grassroots over the world.

World leading financial institutions and related bodies are crippled and unemployment rates are being increased due to economic down turn. Alike, people who are living in under the low living conditions with hunger, IDP, and malnutrition are still remaining over the world especially in Asian and African regains. Approximately half of the populations on the planet are living amidst such related issues. Charities and International organizations which have being engaging admirable service on behalf of the helpless people are fading on ongoing catastrophe of lack of monitory assistant and due to interrupted fund channeling.

Proper time has came to get every possible actions need to be taken control as a globally as never before against such issues. The fact behind all these issues is neo-liberalism is being diminishing. After the Cold war, world has been changing towards embracing neo-liberalism. Most of States dropped out from the responsibility of welfare State and its’ main intention was strength privet economic sector. This doctrine has being becoming an obsolescence concept for past few years. Further more, the stance of “police State” system can not be manipulated amidst the impending risk of economic down turn. The prevailing economic gap between haves and haves not will be increased and potentials may be created to harm human solidarity. With the economic scenario, diluting of charities and NGOs will be a vital due to interrupted funds channeling. There for every State hand down to under take every possible action to confront these merging issues of regarding services for instances hunger, poverty, what have been under taken previously by charities and NGOs.

I strongly believe that according to the my point of view, all neo- liberal structured should be changed towards socialism or welfare State systems as constructively assist the human kind who are living in less living conditions, if any State need to confront successively economic crisis and provide a admirable service for the all social group of a country. USA and some of European countries are attempting to bail out declining financial institutions by pumping billions of dollars. Alike, charities should be bailed out providing money to safe guard millions of innocent lives.
