Concern for the suffering of the world.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself (no more than 3 paragraphs)
Ann Medlock, a writer, founded the Giraffe Heroes Project to honor people who stick their necks out for the common good and to tell others their stories so that more people would move into compassionate, courageous service.
Please list the countries and/or regions in which you have direct and significant expertise
I've lived in Japan, Viet Nam, and the Congo. Have traveled in Asia and in Europe. I know little to nothing about the Americas but people all over the world have been honored as Giraffe Heroes.
What is your current country of residence?
US
What is your current job (and organization) and/or where and what field are you studying?
Founder/Creative Director Giraffe Heroes Project
How many years professional experience do you have?
15+
What is your personal or organizational website?
http://www.giraffe.org
Which are your primary sectoral areas of expertise?
Civil Society, Education, Social Entreprenuership
Which are your primary skills areas?
Communication
What are some of your current areas of research (if any)?
These questions are making me think I really don't belong here. You seem to be looking for young academics. Big smile when I saw the max number for work years was 15+. How about 50+? Still, I don't seem myself having "expertise" in the fields you name, even the ones I checked.
If appropriate feel free to list several of your publications
Voices of Hope, Heroes Stories for Challenging Times
The Giraffe Heroes Program for K-2
My other books are not relevant here.
