Profile Information

What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I come from the post conflict region, Western Balkans. During the wars of the 1990`s I was engaged in peace activism, while later I dealt with post-conflict reconcilliation. I think there is a lot of experience that I could share with people around the world.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I`ve been in NGO activities since early 1980`s, as a dissident, opposing death penalty, advocating human rights and arguing for political pluralism, freedom of media and rule of law. In 1990`s I opposed wars and nationalism, while in 2007 and 2008/2009, through The Third Chamber, I was contributing to the international development cooperation.

I have also been a politician. Local councillor 1996-2004, member of various local government bodies 2000-2006 and again since 2008, member of the leadership of the shadow national local goverments association 1997-2000, etc. Also, currently, the acting International Secretary of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in Serbia and a member of the LDP Policy Making Board for European Integration Affairs.

Professional: ex-journalist, currently a facilitator, political trainer, economic and political analyst/consultant, etc. Worked both with commercial companies and with non-profit organisations.
