Profile Information
- What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
- I'm naturally passionately drawn to issues of conflict, justice, and peacemaking, and always have been
- Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself (no more than 3 paragraphs)
- Rebecca Subar facilitates difficult meetings and problem-solving sessions, mediates disputes, teaches negotiation skills and trains people to navigate their work and political relationships effectively. Her clients are political activists, nonprofit leaders, labor and management negotiators.
In addition to her work as principal of Rebecca Subar Management Consulting, Rebecca is a Senior Consultant with CMPartners and the Bridgeway Group, both of Cambridge, MA. She also teaches peace and conflict studies at West Chester University. Recent projects include teaching negotiation to Palestinian professionals and political actors on the West Bank, training chief executives in Northern Ireland in joint problem-solving skills, facilitating a strategic planning process for a grant-making foundation in transition, and facilitating a multi-party labor-management health care negotiation.
Rebecca received her Master in Public Administration from Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government and her BA from Barnard College at Columbia University.
