Peace and Collaborative Development Network
Building Bridges, Networks and Expertise Across Sectors
Work has been interesting this week. The Charity I work for Foundation for Peace, have just had a significant event, whereby out Founder Colin Parry, who's son was killed by an IRA bomb in Warrington town centre in 1993, met with Gerry Adams for the first time last night in London. Here's a link to the event:

I'm currently doing an MA in Peace Studies at University of Notre Dame (Indiana, USA). Together with some classmates we are working on a small assignment on peacebuilding in Nagaland. We are trying to learn who is doing what in terms of peacebuilding and what the major challenges are. It's not easy to find information on civil society organizations. Can you help us with some links or comments?

I am very happy to hear about your programme and how serious human rights and justice issues were treated. Since I learn about human rights 15 years ago I have held on to it.
I equally discovered that the foundation for peace can only be achieved when the fundamental human rights of the people are respected and guaranteed. It is the bedrock of human existence on this our planet.
Cheers!
