- What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
- The grief of the war, conflict & terrorism.

- Mr. Pushkar holds an International Research Master degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Germany under DAAD Fellowship program. In addition, he has also achieved a first class honor in Master in Public Administration degree in 1999-2001. Competently, he is working now as an officer of Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of Nepal, and also supporting to the Peace International and various NGOs as a capacity of Peace and Conflict Management Expert, accordance with the official permission of Government of Nepal.
The one most important thing is that Mr. Pushkar has been intensively working in various research issues and contemporary perspectives of Conflict, Politics and Governance, with special reference to developing nations. Moreover, he has a decade long outstanding national and international level professional experiences with Govt., NGOs, academic institutions and other agencies. Besides, he often involves in teaching, research, preparing and writing scholarly and semi-scholarly articles and reports in the areas of his special expertise.
