Profile Information

What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I am currently involved here in Northern Uganda. Of particular interest for me is the possible use of transformation as a means of bringing about positive change particularly in the cross border conflict between the Acholi and the Jie peoples.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself (no more than 3 paragraphs)
Philippines is my birthplace. It is the country where I grew up, studied and began to earn a living.

Earning a living began early, that is, when I was still in highschool and continued till now. It is actually done to help me pursue activities I am interested in in each stage.

Interest began with mundane things like attaining an education and improve my capacity to meet financial needs. Eventually organising and working with people had taken hold of me.

Waw, Fr Obot told me quite a lot and waiting to see you here. QActually I now know where your home is. Will try to encourage him to be here. I last had a training with him at Lira hotel on Human Rights based approach and conflict sensitive approach in conflict areas. It was such a good one. EU, NUREP and International Law institute were behind everything.

You are absolutely right. Peace is possible to achieve, but like you mentioned, we continue to face critical and thouth resistance when advancing peace because predatory leaders in some countries want just to advance their own personal agenda pushing peace aside.
