Hi Sara,

Thanks for sharing this article! I would love to see curriculum and manuals as well. I will think of some good articles to share with you. You might be interested in our Community-based Institutes on Peace Education (CIPE) initiative. There is a manual (slightly outdated) you can download online: http://www.c-i-p-e.org./cipe/support.html. The CIPE is our response to the lack of formal teacher training opportunities in peace education - amongst other things. I know Krister quite well too! It's a small world!

Violance,war,conflicts,sufferings my desire to see world in peace and non violance has motivated me to join this network."Vasudev kutukbkam" entire world as a family, this was a teaching of our culture and traditional.we created countries,boundries,religions,cast,race for a genuine reason or a false reasons for any reason.but this the time to realise that we are one and we naturaly interconected with each other ,which we can just realise by watching inhale and exhale of breaths the source is same ,without any descrimanation,religion,bonundries, equaly for all living life of universe .When we understand this simple thing then we must understand how our and other's life is equaly important,valuble ,respectable .we should follow the nature's rule ,non violance .peace ,god has given us a human life not for destruction but for lookafter the wellbeing of all living life.

What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
What led me to the field of conflict resolution and international development was my sincere and continuing commitment to promoting the peace and prosperity of humankind. I am convinced that the ways of peaceful, just and creative governance and community action can be learned and implemented in all sectors and regions if an enlightened and systemic approach is taken. I look forward to meeting other practitioners who feel likewise.

During the past 7 years I have worked intensively for the International Education for Peace Institute (www.efpinternational.org), on project design and implementation, management, donor relations and project evaluation. The organization focuses on projects that build local capacity to prevent future community violence through a comprehensive program of consultation, training, community action and policy advocacy. In recent years, I have specialized in curriculum development, teacher training, and the design of peace education and conflict resolution resources based on new media technologies.
