Increase the Peace
(We're just asking for a change of heart)
We are the young, the future generation, Pray our hopes and dreams, Find their destination
Save a bullys soul, Help them see the light, Cause when and we do, Everything will be all right.
(Chorus)
Help me, Make history, Increase the peace, It's something we can all do now.
Help please, Increase the Peace, Were just asking, Asking for a change of heart
This train is on time, It's a fast-moving line, Don't need a ticket, Just the want to leave bad things behind.
Guns won't save our lives. Hate towards others, We now despise
Fighting over skin color, Has really gotten old, So leave it all behind, Get on board.
(Chorus)
Help please, Help people see, Increase the peace, It's something we must all do now
Help me, Increase the peace, Cause if we do, We'll leave all bad dreams behind
This train is on time, Don't cut into line, Plenty of room, It's a place shared by one and all.
Give respect to love, The young the old, Friends whether weak or strong
Well share this journey forever, Come on board, Let's get it together
Take my hand, Board this train with me, I can see our new home with love
(Chorus)
Help me, Make history, Increase the peace, It's something we can all do now
Help me, Increase the peace, Were just asking, Asking for a change of heart
Help me, Help people see, Increase the peace, It's something we must all do now
Help me, Increase the peace, Cause when we do, We're leaving bad dreams behind
Be free, Just wait and see, Increase the peace, It's a place we belong right now
You'll see, Increase the peace, Were going through, We're going through a change of heart.

Increase the peace Day was started by Bruce Galler, a history teacher at Challenger middle school in Lake Los Angeles California.
After a barrage of school shootings including Columbine, it was time to gather students up and teach them tolerance and other positive behaviors.
The first increase the peace Day, Bruce gathered about 800 students on the lawn of their school and talked about everything from bullying to racism. At the end of the talks to students made a giant peacetime on the grass.
The next year, other schools joined in and eventually huge rallies ensued with up to 3200 children make and a giant peace sign.
Bruce took his cause and his students to Washington and with the help of congressmen Howard McKeon, passed resolution 113 declaring April 20 (the day of the Columbine disaster) Increase the Peace Day.
Keep on keeping the peace !!
