Profile

What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
Everything. The conflict that exists in the world, the people that are working to alleviate it. My own personal peace, the people that I love and the joy of believing in something beautiful and actively working to manifest it.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself (no more than 3 paragraphs)
I have a background in creating and organising Community Arts Events amongst Youth. I am a creator, an artist, a poet, a writer, a researcher, a student, and many other things. I can see the inherent opportunity that the new arena of peacebuilding provides us with the opportunity of creating dynamic ways to manifest peace in a world that is rapidly changing.

I am currently in the middle of a degree in International Community Development. I am majoring in Community Development, Spanish and Social Research. I recently won a grant to come to Mexico to continue my studies in spanish and undertake social research with a local peace-building N.G.O.

In the future I plan to complete my Post Grad in Peace Studies - as well as continue developing my own ideas regarding peace education amongst youth, and keep working to develop the peace building capacity of organisations within my local community.

Hello.

I hope to open a line of communication with you. It seems we share some common interests so I wanted to make my introduction. I'm Chris from New Orleans. I'm studying Comparative legal systems at Tulane Law School and am very interested in Human Rights and Mediation and Negotiation. Given our common interests this might be a good to start to communication so we can refer to each other in the future. Please take a minute to view my page and leave a message if you like.

peace.
