Hello!! I am a researcher from Assam, India working on gender, peace building and issues revolving around insurgency . I visited Nepal last July for a study on women in the PLA. I am really interested in the current political scenario of Nepal. As a researcher and a peace advocate, how do you envisage the role of the new government?

Thank you Aaron. You are welcome in Nepal. Peace Ministry is doing someting for the sake of people of nation, but it is kept by the elites again as usual. There is no need of mind, skill, information and expertise, again they are highly influenced by money, muscle and mafia ignoring the works of mind. Even after the setup of such wonderful institution, there are 46-armed groups are grown and so on. This is all because of widespread of culture of impunity. Red passport holder ministers and parliamentarian members are are again trying to be a CA member of the sake of new Nepal. This is same us.

Please let me know if we kind of any assistance in this regards.

Peace,
Bishnu Pathak

Thanks, people from Nepal are welcome to apply to participate in the course. This is the 4th year we will be doing the course in Bolivia. ACT also did a summer course in Indonesia two years ago, at this point there is no definite plan to do a course in the region for this summer, but perhaps in future years.
