Profile

What motivated you to become involved in peace and conflict resolution?
I was motivated to become involved in peace and conflict resolution by a profound sense of justice, which probably resulted from so often being in a minority, and from being hurt by unresolved conflicts.
Please feel free to provide a short bio about yourself (no more than 3 paragraphs)
Marc Forget is a trainer and facilitator who, for many years, has conducted participatory and transformative learning workshops around the world on peacemaking, non-violence, reconciliation, human rights education, restorative justice, community building, and non-violent advocacy. He trains facilitators in many countries for various national and international NGOs. In recent years many of these training sessions have been on the use of the participatory/transformative approach to education. Marc is co-founder of Deep Humanity Institute, a non-profit organization that creates and implements conflict transformation programs in the school and workplace environments.
