Paglia, feminism and nowadays courage

I adore Camilla Paglia. Was lucky enough to meet her and this is how became one of my best articles ever. I published that interview with Paglia for Serbian edition of Playboy, a perfect contexts for her first media appearance in our part of the world. She is, as was in the days when this was more important to state, very much pro - Playboy oriented. To avoid confusions, see her page on Wikipedia, excellently edited. Why I love Paglia? Human Trafficking in Kosovo

As some members of our PCDNetworking asked me more details about human (predominantly sex) trafficking in Kosovo, I thought of providing some sources I found very useful for researching on our region. The ones whose working on the subject knows very well how difficult is to research sex trafficking. Even though particularly that organized crime is becoming more profitable then drug smuggling last years (world wide), studies and reports about it are providing estimations mostly, as it is incredib… Continue

Thanks Jelena ,
For your prompt responce.Yes really we can share our information regarding the Issues of refugee status in all over the world .Now I am working here with durable solution Mission for refugee .A large-scale programme for the resettlement of refugees from Bhutan has begun in the seven camps located in Jhapa and Morang Districts of southern Nepal. UNHCR, together with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and resettlement countries, will provide information on an ongoing basis to the refugees about durable solutions in the camps through mass meetings, radio messages and discussion groups. It is critical that refugees are able to gather as much information as possible about their durable solutions options in order to make an informed decision regarding their future.
Resettlement is never the only solution that UNHCR and the international community advocate for. Any one of the three solutions will be offered to refugees when it is feasible and practical to do so. The international community and UNHCR continue to advocate for the right to return to Bhutan.

we will be in touch
regards
Yadab

Hi Jelena! I just got an update news from the ESF regarding the migration trend in Europe. 'Posted the event news at our forum page. I see that the migration phenomenon is getting to be tougher by the year. Amid the openness that Europe is going through, the migration terrain is experiencing a different story. As early as 1990, when I was active as a migrants' advocate here in Manila (I was among the co-founders of the militant Migrante Alliance International), we advocates were already alerted about the tougher requirements for migrants in Europe. They simply can't flow in and out of any country there, even when Europeans can already move about across borders without visas. The Lisbon Treaty may be the last stroke of the pen to consolidate political unification, and perhaps expect some tougher treatment of migrants there. I'm wary about a police state arising out of Europe really, amid the championing of Bonapartism in the continent (will write articles about the ascent of Bonapartism across the globe later).

Hi Jelena,
Greeting from Aceh, Indonesia
I just read about your profile. Your background seems really impressive. I m happy to know you. As someone who live in conflict, I beleive that you are rich on the knowledge and experiences in helping the victims of war.
I wonder if you can write a little about the best practice you have ever had during doing your work in your country.
You know? I publish an Acehnese woman magazine now. I encourage women from the grassroot to write in the magazine. They are active writing now. It makes me happy with the progress. Therefore, if you dont mind you can send me s hort article which can be published in our local Magazine. Then name of the magazine is POTRET. You can visit their articles in our website: www.ccde.or.id

I am looking forward to receiving your writing.
